The sticky liner (sold separately) itself is coated with a glue substance, which plays a crucial role in trapping insects upon immediate contact. As insects come into contact with the glue, they get stuck to the liner, effectively capturing them and preventing their escape. This ensures reliable capture of insects and enhances the trap's efficacy in monitoring and managing pest populations.

This trap consists of a transparent polypropylene cylinder with two yellow caps that feature holes for easy insect entry. Additionally, it is equipped with a holder to secure the attractant. Its design allows for simple usage and maintenance, facilitated by the presence of a hook and a ring that enhance its manipulability.

The Steiner trap also incorporates a lower housing area within its interior, which facilitates swift capture by forming a chamber where insects are lured and trapped, unable to escape.

The combination of the transparent cylinder and the yellow caps with entry holes ensures effective attraction and entrapment of the target insects.
